The Process

In most cases, getting your orthotics is a two-appointment process. Both appointments are scheduled at a fourty-five minute length so that Scott can really get to know the person's needs and the care that their feet need.

On your first evaluation appointment we will imprint your feet to create a cast duplicate of the impression.

During this appointment we will decide which type of orthosis will suite your feet and your lifestyle best.

From there we can begin the process of giving your feet the support they need to keep up with your daily activities.

The second appointment is where you receive the finished product. Scott grinds down the orthotics to fit your shoes during this appointment, so be sure to bring your multitudes of shoes you would like them to fit in to. You will test out the handiwork that Peterson's Orthotic Lab has to offer, we will make some adjustments, and you will be off to enjoy your new orthotics.

Why Orthotics

Orthotics are used for treatment involving multiple conditions that relate to the foot and ankle. Orthotics will stabilize your gait as you walk and help dissolve discomfort.

Common inflictions include:

  • Plantar Fasciitis

  • Bunions

  • Flat Feet

  • Fallen Arches

  • High Arches

  • Achilles Tendonitis

  • Hip and Knee Pain

  • Morton's Neuroma

  • Hallux Rigidus

Our custom orthotics transfer from shoe to shoe, so no matter what activity you are doing (golfing, running, hiking, cycling, etc.) they are a constant support.

At Peterson's Orthotic Lab we take great pride in delivering a superior product to our patient's and that's why we make everything in-house and custom.
